What to Expect:

Our air conditioned coach will take you inland through the beautiful countryside towards the East Coast, where the Caves of Hams are located and where you will discover one of Mallorca's most important attractions. On the way from Palma, your guide will give you information about your surroundings and about the caves and will give you valuable tips about how to get the most out of your visit to the Caves of Hams.

The visit inside the caves lasts approximately one hour. You will follow the route through the caves, marvelling as you find:

• The Round Cave, set in a vast open area with a botanical garden.
• The Classic Cave that gives the Caves of Hams their name, "Hams" referring to the peculiar hook-shaped formations of stalactites and stalagmites. It is here where the musical show is offered, by the underground lake called the "Sea of Venice".
• The blue cave, which shines with spectacular lighting using the latest LED technology.

Although the Caves of Hams were only discovered in 1905, they say that they have existed for around 10 million years!

What is included?

The price of the half day tour to the Caves of Hams includes: 

• Caves of Hams entrance fee including audiovisual information:This is a very popular momument and it is extremely difficult to get tickets on the door for the same day. Your excursion includes your entrance ticket so you don't need to spend half your day waiting in line.
• Classical music inside: There is a music show beside the Sea of Venice lake.
• Return transport: We will travel to the Caves of Hams by air conditioned bus on which you can sit back and relax in comfort as you enjoy the breathtaking countryside views from the windows. This is the most convenient way to get to the Caves of Hams, as you don't need to worry about hiring a car, finding the caves, fueling up or parking.
• Mallorca official guide: our licenced official guides of Mallorca are master linguists and have years of experience looking after groups. You will be entertained throughout the day and will learn plenty about the island of Mallorca. 
• Travel insurance: you don't need to worry about a thing.

What is not included?

• Food and drinks: Food and drinks are not included but this is a half day excursion, so you can have lunch at your leisure once you are back in resort. You are more than welcome to bring something with you and there are places to get refreshments and snacks during the day.

Timetable and Duration:

• The tour is approximate 5 hours from the time we depart our meeting point in Palma.
• The tour is from approx. 8:45am until 2pm.

Meeting point and pick up:

The starting point for the tour is in the centre of Palma.If your hotel does not appear on the list, you have 2 options:

1.  You can contact us by Whats App and we will explain you how to proceed
2. When making the reservation, when you get to the "required information" step, you must select the option "I will go to the starting point" and in the comment section please write the name of your hotel.

Please note: a moderate amount of walking is involved inside the Caves of Hams and the caves are not wheelchair accessible.

Q: Are the Caves of Hams wheelchair accessible?

A: No, unfortunately not. If you have walking difficulties, please contact us before booking and we will try to advise you.

Q: Can I go on the tour with a pram? A: You may not enter the Caves of Hams with a pram or baby stroller. The steps make it impossible to visit with a pram. You can carry your baby in your arms or in a baby backpack. You are more than welcome to bring the baby stroller on the tour and we will keep it in the bus and then you can use it on other parts of the excursion.

Q: Can I swim in the caves? A: No, swimming in the caves is forbidden.

Q: Can I take photos inside the caves? A: Yes, you can take photos and make recordings inside, but without using a flash, spotlight, selfie stick or tripod, while striving not to obstruct the passage of other visitors or becoming separated from the group. Taking photos and filming at the concert is strictly prohibited.
